Deep Hole Drilling / Gun Drilling

LDC Engineering Ltd provides specialist deep hole drilling and gun drilling services from our West Yorkshire facility near Leeds.

Our deep hole drilling capability covers diameters up to 68mm and depths up to 2m, enabling us to manufacture everything from simple heater holes to complex multi-level water cooling circuits.

Our gun drilling capacity is up to 38mm diameter, with depths of up to 4m achievable on certain diameters, depending on material specification.

We machine a wide range of materials including duplex, stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium, copper, bronze, cast iron, cast steel, resin, nylon and wood. We have the capacity to produce components from one-off items through to large batch production.

In addition to deep hole drilling and gun drilling, we also offer CNC milling, turning, radial drilling and surface grinding. Our surface grinder has a table size of 1500mm x 500mm x 350mm, providing substantial capacity for larger components.
